send taxAmount to braintree and paypal anyone able to do that?

We are on Magento 2.2.5 EE and are upgrading to 2.3.1 EE and we do not see our tax information being sent to braintree or paypal.  Has anyone successfully done this?  I have an outstanding ticket with Magento but it has been months with no answer.  Please help.  Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply but my configs in the admin panel are correct.  The issue is that the Tax information is not being sent to braintree or paypal.  I need to see the amount the customer paid in sales tax when I log into braintree and payapl.

you need to enable payal line item tranfer for paypal
