sidebar content not populating in localhost am using magento 1.9. version

Hi,am using magento 1.9 version,

when i click on my blog page am not getting the sidebar content in localhost ,but am able to see it in the live..what is the thing i need to check or do to get the sidebar content..can anyone help me out?

Not sure about this one. What extension are you using for the blog?

Is your localhost version using a recent version of the database? If the code, database and environment are the same then the same sidebar would be exhibited in both.
