Error Upgrade Magento from 2.4.4-p2 to 2.4.6

Hi everyone, I've been using magento2 for a few months but I'm having trouble understanding how to update.
Could anyone help me understand what this error means and how to fix it? BUT Upgrade should not install all updates automatically?

php bin/magento maintenance:enable

composer require magento/product-community-edition 2.4.6 --no-update
composer update --ignore-platform-reqs

There is an easy solution to fix this error “your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages” in Magento 2. You just need to run the following commands:

• composer install --ignore-platform-reqs

     or 

• composer update --ignore-platform-reqs

If I understand correctly after this command

php bin/magento maintenance:enable

composer require magento/product-community-edition 2.4.6 --no-update

We advise you to manually edit the composer.json file with the right versions ?

Please follow the steps below:

1. Please delete composer.lock file (Please make sure to take a backup beforehand).
2. Please try the following command:
   composer require magento/product-community-edition 2.4.6 -W
3. Composer Update:
   1. Run composer update
4. Please update the database schema and data. bin/magento setup:upgrade
5. Please disable Magento maintenance mode. bin/magento maintenance:disable
6. Restart Varnish. (Optional) Restart Varnish If you use it for page caching: service varnish restart

I am trying to upgrade from Magento 2.4.2 to Magento 2.4.6, I did try several solutions including your suggested one but still stuck on the same error:
php bin/magento setup:upgrade

First update colinmollenhour/credis dependency
Update it and dependencies with composer command
Then upgrade Magento with composer
Read errors to find dependency conflicts
Update dependencies one by one before upgrading
