ADOBE COMMERCE 2.4.3  & Q3 PRODUCT UPDATES

Progressive Web Applications

PWA Studio 11 is here with exciting enhancements to the shopper’s wishlist!  Shoppers can now easily save and track items by adding products to their wishlist directly from category pages and the cart page. Purchasing from a wishlist is now simplified as well with the ability to add to cart directly from a wishlist. These improvements greatly encourage conversion on our customers sites.

We are also introducing the PWA Studio user interface (UI) kit for Adobe Commerce, built in Adobe XD. The kit provides optimized pre-configured assets, symbols, and templates for creating intuitive, mobile-first site experiences. Get the kit today, as well as its documentation and tutorials.

Also, as part of our ongoing partnership, Adobe Experience Manager has released a new headless extension for PWA Studio that allows content fragments to be leveraged across your client’s storefront. For more information, see the Introducing Adobe Experience Manager’s New Headless Extension for Adobe Commerce PWA Studio article on the Adobe blog.

Live Search

Previously, merchants had to wait for some key catalog-sync processes to run for Live Search. Now in our Q3 release, we are happy to announce that catalog sync has been reduced to minutes when creating, deleting, or updating products. Additional improvements to Live Search onboarding and syncing product metadata updates will follow.

Upgrade Compatibility Tool

We’re increasing the scope of the Upgrade Compatibility Tool, originally released in January as an Alpha, to improve its usability and workflow. The upgrade compatibility tool now enables merchants to detect and validate core file modifications, export the compatibility check report as a .json file, validate VBEs, and view error codes to help identify and resolve issues. We’ve also published a new Upgrade best practices guide to help our customers and partners better navigate the upgrade process.

Observation for Adobe Commerce

Observation for Adobe Commerce visually presents application log data in combination with data from the New Relic observability platform on a single pane of glass with an easy-to-understand dashboard. The tool gathers your Commerce data to identify important signals against a common timeline that can be expanded or contracted, allowing you to visualize your log data to help with performance management and issue resolution. Instead of tracking disparate data, you can spend your time correlating events and errors to gain deep insights into the causes of performance bottlenecks.

Platform  Quality

This release includes platform quality fixes including, decreased indexing time for Product Price and Catalog Rules, expansion of the GraphQL API, and the addition of the PayPal Pay Later payment option for our native PayPal integration.

Security

This release resolves several security issues and introduces enhancements like expansion of ReCAPTCHA security to the web-API to protect against spam and misuse, the addition of built-in web-API rate limiting to protect against DDOS attacks, and a new Composer plug in to prevent Dependency Confusion.

You can review the Magento blog, 2.4.3 release notes, 2.4.2-p2 security release notes, and 2.3.7-p1 security release notes for more information about this release and other product announcements. You can also review our Security Bulletin to learn about the security updates included in these new versions.

Best regards,

The team at Adobe

I upgraded to 2.4.3 magento and have had trouble getting to the admin page. Can't understand why. Is this a known issue? Whenever I try to login to the backend I get a 404 error

Hi,

I am using Magento 2.4.3. I have 2 categories with products more than 10000. But it is showing 10000 only.

I have tried updating search_request.xml but no effect.

Tried using https://gist.github.com/anonymous/225c498e81565fd6d6a3de670c008593, but still no effect.

Reference : https://phpstack-773794-2925372.cloudwaysapps.com/engagement-rings

Showing products upto 250 pages only. And error "We can't find products matching the selection" on all next pages.

Why is "Adobe Commerce 2.4.3 Available Today" a featured post stickied at the homepage of the Magento community forums in 2023 when 2.4.6 is out?

Hey! It sounds like you've encountered a couple of glitches after upgrading from Magento 2.3.6 to 2.4.3, and it can be frustrating dealing with export errors and missing product attributes. The "Please correct the data sent value" error during product sheet export might be related to data format or validation issues. You might want to double-check the product data and ensure it aligns with the expected format for Magento 2.4.3. As for the product attributes not showing, it could be a configuration or indexing problem. Make sure to reindex your data and clear the cache to see if that resolves the attribute visibility issue. Good luck with the troubleshooting, and I hope you get everything sorted out soon!

Hello,

Thanks for the good news!

After wasting so much time helping Magento Open Souce grow in Worldwide Commerce, we won't let it fall easily.

Even if the new owners don't know what to do with their new property, we should work around the problem as long as Magento Open Souce exists.

There is no Open Souce Adobe Photoshop for a simple reason, but there will be a Open Source Commercial Store for many complex reasons.

Thanks!
