Magento 2.0.x Documentation EOL and Removal

lkrell
New Contributor

Magento 2.0.18 was the final 2.0.x release. After March 2018, Magento 2.0.x stopped receiving security patches, quality fixes, and documentation updates. To maintain your site's performance, security, and PCI compliance, upgrade to the latest version of Magento.

To ensure the quality of our public documentation for versions of Magento Commerce that are still supported, and to avoid potential confusion about 2.0.x support, we are removing all 2.0.x content from our public documentation websites May 31, 2019.

We will continue to provide the latest documentation for all supported versions of Magento for both developers and merchants.

What happens to links?

All links to 2.0 DevDocs content will redirect to the latest versions available to help you find the information you need. To see a different version, select from the version selector in the top navigation.

All links to 2.0.x Magento User Guides will redirect to our Magento Tech Resources page. Search for content in the available guides for your version and edition from this page.

Contributions

We continue to accept contributions to the DevDocs for versions 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 release lines. Soon we will begin accepting contributions to the Magento User Guides for 2.3 Open Source, Commerce, and B2B.

Interested in sharing your knowledge? Learn more about contributing to the DevDocs. We will post news on contributing to the Magento User Guide soon! If interested, let us know in the #devdocs channel.
