Magento 2.2.3 Can't remove Notify when the price drops link on product page

On the product details page of my new magento installation, there is a clickable link next to the product picture that says "Notify me when the price drops".  I've been trying to remove / disable this feature and from what I've seen, there is no way in the admin to achieve this.  I'm not a programmer so I don't know how to go into the hard code to remove it without messing up something else.  Any help would be appreciated!

And is there any way a customer can cancel his notification? It's strange that there is only a link to subscribe for notifications and there is no link to cancel this notification.
