customer export

I am wondering why there are 2 different exports for customer in Magento dashboard :

System > Export > Entity Type, Customers Main File and Customer addresses

This will require merging spreadsheets on a daily basis

That's correct and that's the default nature of magento for export.

Even in the customer main file - if you have default shipping an default billing address there then it will export with the main file in a one column

but if you need all the specific details of address in a single file - then you will require to slight customization on the magento import/export module.

You will require to include those fields from the database into the magento export main file.

Another option would be there are third-party extension available which might does the same job - so you can use any of them.
