need help with product search

I'm using an aheadworks advanced search extension. I am unable to get my products to show up using plural words. For example, if a customer searches cookie cutters rather than cookie cutter. Cookie cutters yeilds different results then cookie cutter. How can I get the search to yeild the same result for both a plural term and a singular term?

I am unsure about your extension (It may be best contacting the developer for this). But with default Magento this would be achieved by doing the following.

Catalog -> Search Terms -> Add New Search Term

Search Query * -> What the customer is searching for.

Synonym For -> What search results you want to show.
