PHPStorm Plugin for Magento OS and Adobe Commerce

PHPStorm Plugin for Magento OS and Adobe Commerce is an open-source community driven project, starting from priorities definition and backlog preparation to publishing release. As of now, the plugin has been developed by 30 community contributors and was downloaded more than 120 thousand times.

The plugin is adding lots of features helping to solve every day Magento developer routines, improve code quality and prevent issues. The features include various code generation, code inspections, improved referencing, mapping, and navigation. The plugin aids work with many file types providing features for PHP, JS and GraphQL files. Learn about all features on project wiki.

Recently, a powerful upgrade compatibility functionality has been introduced to the plugin providing an integration with the Upgrade Compatibility Tool and a set of compatibility inspections that are able to validate projects and modules against any Adobe Commerce version, reporting all non-API, deprecated, and removed core code that is referenced in the customization. This functionality is essential for preparation to upgrade to a new Adobe Commerce version.

There are a lot of ideas on further improvement for the plugin being discussed now and your feedback and input are always appreciated. PHPStorm Plugin community is open for your participation as a user or even a contributor. Download the plugin from PHPStorm marketplace. Do not forget to update it to the latest version. Join and contribute to the project via GitHub repository or #phpstorm-plugin Magento Open Source slack channel.
