Our Development team has been hard at work on Magento Community Edition 1.9.2 and we anticipate releasing it in early July. The release will provide merchants with many product quality and security improvements.
With recent product updates, we’ve tried to release Community Edition at the same time or soon after Enterprise Edition. This was our intention for Community Edition 1.9.2. However, there were also a number of updates we felt we should make before bringing Community Edition 1.9.2 to market. These updates will be available for current users of Community and Enterprise Editions as patches, and will be integrated in forthcoming releases of each product. We believe this is the right decision to support our merchants; however it means that Community Edition 1.9.2 will be released later than expected. We thank you for your patience in waiting for Community Edition 1.9.2 and for your continued support of the Magento platform.
