Adobe to Acquire Magento

If you missed the news, Adobe recently announced their intent to acquire Magento! Our CEO, Mark Lavelle, shared his thoughts on the acquisition on our blog. Also, be sure to check out Doubling Down on Adobe’s Open Platform Vision with Magento from Matt Asay, Head of Adobe's Developer Ecosystem.

Adobe has a strong commitment to open source and has more than 270 public repositories on its GitHub site. Some of its best-known open source projects are developer tools like the PhoneGap web development framework, the Brackets text editor and the Topcoat CSS library. Adobe staff also contribute regularly to other open source projects like Gecko, Hubble, Blink, WebKit, Apache Cordova, Apache OpenWhisk, Flex, Felix and many others.
