List of countries where region/state is not required

Hi,

I'm trying to locate a list that shows Countries where State/Region isn't required. It would be very helpful if it also showed what the State/Regions are for the countries where they are required.

go to Store >> Configuration >> General >> Genenal 

State Options you will find out which state required for which country.

If works then mark as a solution.

Yes, I know about Store > Configuration >> General >> General is where one configures those options. But I'm looking for a list of countries so I can configure those settings as Magento doesn't have all the countries set up with that information.

For example does Denmark require the state/region?  

Here is an address for Brazil:

   Juan Smith
   Rua Visconde de Porto Seguro 1238       [street name + house/building number]
   Sao Paulo-SP                            [city-ProvinceCode] Yes, São Paulo is properly written with an ã, but this will still work.]
   04642-000                               [postal code (equivalent of what in the U.S. is a 'zip code')]
   BRAZIL                                  

 It looks like the city isn't required or maybe the province isn't as they seem the same.  Maybe both need shown even though they seem redundant?

If so, you won't find it "off-the-shelf" with Magento, but you can add it with an extension.
