Major discrepancy between Google Analytics Revenue and Magento backend sales reports

Hello all,

I am witnessing a major discrepancy between Google Analytics revenue and magento sales reports. My actual orders on magento are 2-3 times of what is being shown in Google Analytics. Have rechecked the ecommerce settings on Magento and Analytics and everything is set as per the suggested methods. Has anyone faced this issue or has any insights on what could be wrong? Tried speaking to Google support and they simply said this is out of their scope since the discrepancy is between a non-Google property

Hi @ishan_doshi 

Are you using any plugin for the CCPA or GDPR compliance? If yes that may be providing you an option of the Cookie bar where customer has to accepts the cookies. And if they do not accepts the cookies certain tracking code and scripts will not work.

Hi, thanks for replying. We're a local business catering only to Mumbai region so not using any plugins related to GDPR/CCPA
