How can I delete or cancel my account in Magento forum?

It looks like you are new here, just like me. I'm curious, why would you want to delete an account that you just created?

From what I can tell Magento forum accounts are linked with your main Magento account. 

A little Google search found this: https://www.accountkiller.com/en/delete-magento-go-account

While the link above is out of date, the wisdom there is sound. Contact the team and ask for removal: http://magento.com/company/contact-us

Again I have to ask, why would you want to?

I tried Magento and found it not very useful and userfriendly. To complicated.

I still want to delete my account and it would be great to have even for that a simple option.

I am trying to delete my account because I created the wrong kind of magento account for my job, I need to delete it asap so i can use this email. I have sent out emails to Magento but i'm not getting a response, please help

Hi all, sorry but we don't actually delete accounts as it impacts too many aspects of Magento.com. However, if you have duplicate accounts we can merge them for you.

For future views of this thread, I'm closing this thread but please reach out to privacy [at] magento [dot] com to request for your account to be deleted or simply go to My Settings > Close Account and you can close it on your own.
