We have just launched a new website in the UK Charity Retail sector.
Looking for feedback and how best to develop traffic if anyone has any suggestions?
Hi @Buy2Help,
It looks really really well. I specially like the color combination.
Regarding developing traffic, I guess you can start a Google Adwords campaign and target different keywords related to your store in Google Results.
Best regards.
Gabriel
Hi Buy2Help,
In addition to Gabriel's comments above, there's another way to get genuine, useful feedback.
Feedback from your target customers is gold! And the best way way to do this is run User Experience testing on your website. Enter your ecommerce website URL, select your target audience and location, create/select the tasks (i.e make them go through your purchase process) and then identify points of friction or areas for improvement.
What to expect:
1) Genuine (sometimes brutal) feedback on your ecommerce website
2) Find the bugs and bad UX you never knew were there (and then do something about it)
3) Know what to keep, ditch and improve on your site (and use this knowledge to make them convert more)
Give it a go and test your website UX.
Goodluck!
Jobert
I like the over all look & feel of the website but I have one comment to make regarding the URL structure.
In my opinion, you should think about a short URL. For example, one of your products has such a long URL that is is almost impossible to remember.
ANDORA DINING SET WITH 4 CHAIRS CHROME & BLACK | http://buy2help.org.uk/index.php/furniture-55/dining-room/dining-sets/4-seater/andora-dining-set-with-4-chairs-chrome-black.html
I'd also recommend excluding INDEX.PHP from your URL.
