Hello from Magento 2 newbie eager to learn!

Hi Everyone,

I'm in ecommerce and currently have 2 websites, one using zencart and one using Magento 1. Both are not performing well at all and thats mainly because I don't know what Im doing!!

I'm moving one of the sites over to Magento 2 and want to do it right from the start.

Before creating all my categories and products, I need to understand more on the SEO to ensure Im starting off on the right foot.

Anyway, I have a lot to learn so I apologise for the bombardment of questions to come..  Hope you can help me!!! Thanks

Welcome to the community forums.
Always the the best way to start is to ask and try to help into the forums. So no worries about how many questions you'll have.
One recomendation is to start diving into the http://devdocs.magento.com/. Also the User Guide can be useful: http://docs.magento.com/m2/ce/user_guide/magento/magento-community-edition-2.1-user-guide.html
Another recomendation could be to be aware of Magento issues on Github: https://github.com/magento/magento2/issues (if you are technical, of course).
 
Fianlly, you'll need to get your hands dirty with the platform.
