Hi, my name is Alison and I am not very technical unfortunately. I upgraded to M2 a couple of years ago to run my website, Ebay & Amazon stores and have been struggling with overselling for some time now.
Today I discovered why. when I go to my Amazon and Ebay sales pages I can see that some of my orders are not creating a Magento order for a couple of reasons:
1. Magento Order was not created. Reason: Last Name is not valid!
2. Magento Order was not created. Reason: Invalid customer address id 64630
The 'last name not valid' error is generally when Amazon customers just submit a first name so I am wondering if any settings in Magento can be changed in order to allow the surname to be missing and still create the order. This would prevent me having to manually edit the details of each order adding a few dots or dashes as a surname to allow the magento order to then be generated.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated so that I can finally curb the over selling.
