Need to do an overlay registration forms for other customer group

Hi guys, I really need suggestion on how to do overlay registration forms for other customer groups. I've done some research but mostly needed an extension to do it. But I need to do this form without any extension. is it possible? If it's possible, please show me how. I'm still new to this.

At the time of registration, the customer group is not known.

So in Magento under customer, I wish to add one more entity which is the
farmer. But the farmer doesn't need to login to the website. We just need
their information regarding their farm's product. Or should I just embed
google form?
