Restrict pdf docs to registered logged-in users only

Hello and thanks in advanced to the community. I appreciate it. 

RE: Gated Documents: I want to give our customers access to price sensitive documents. I want to host/archive pdfs but I don't want general web viewers or our competitors to have access. Is there a way restrict a pdf document library to registered logged-in users?

Hi Jim,

Out of the box, that's not a native feature, but there are Magento Extensions that could be helpful for hiding CMS content from the general public, such as: https://marketplace.magento.com/bsscommerce-catalog-permission.html
