environmantal perspective on reducing returns

Hi there!

I hope you all have had some great days during the holidays!

I'm working as a freelance copywriter and content manager in Sweden. My company, Ecomatic, are working as experts in Magento.

As the ecommerce grows all over the world, issues regarding the impact on our environment of shipping and returns, have become a new topic in news media. Some scientist argue that the ecommerce companys should take more responsibility to reduce returns of merchandise in general - and clothes and shoes especially.

I know that Magento have several good features to reduce the quantity of returns, but do some of you have any bullets to highlight the issue shortly described above that I/we can use?
