Hello 👋
Could it be that somehow the self invite part for the slack community at the moment does not work? https://developer.adobe.com/open/magento/slack
You can sign up here directly, https://magentocommeng.slack.com/
That sounds promising. However, I don't see where on that page I can sign up? I even tried logging in with Google, hoping this would create an account for me, but no luck.
This might be my lack of talent in looking for things, but would you be so kind and point out where on that page I would be able to sign up?
There definitely used to be a way to sign up. I've been away from M2 for a bit and now need to get into it again and unfortunately, my slack account was for a previous company. So I know the workspace exists, just can't get my new slack account to get access. I think the standard flow is to know someone "on the inside" to send you an invitation.
Issue is if you don't, which I think we're both experiencing, unfortunately.
Cheers,
Nate
It seems like there might be some confusion on how to sign up for Slack through self-invite. I couldn't find the sign-up option on the page, even after attempting to log in with Google. Could you please provide guidance on where exactly I can sign up on the page? Thank you.
It’s possible that the self-invite feature for the Slack community isn't working due to a technical issue or an update. If you're unable to use it, contacting the community admins for assistance is a good next step. In the meantime, you could check out some Best Funny Elf Nicknames for a light-hearted distraction! They might lift your spirits while waiting for support to resolve the issue. Let me know if you need any other help!
slack self invite not working?
First, ensure that the invite link you are using is still active and hasn't expired; Slack links can become invalid after a certain number of uses or if they are not configured to never expire. If the link is valid but still not working, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or using an incognito window for arche Rechner to eliminate any potential browser-related issues. Additionally, check your workspace settings to ensure that there are no restrictions on invites, such as pre-approved email domains that might be blocking access for certain users. I hope by taking such measures, the problem will be solved.
Slack self-invite issues can be frustrating, especially when you're eager to join a community or workspace. Recently, many users have reported problems with self-invite links not working as expected. This could be due to changes in Slack's invite structure or technical glitches. For instance, some users encounter infinite loops or domain restrictions when trying to join, while others find that their invite links have expired or are no longer valid. Clearing browser cache, checking for updates in the dining invite process, or reaching out to community admins for manual invites can sometimes resolve these issues. It's also important to ensure that your email domain isn't restricted by the workspace settings, as this can prevent successful sign-ups.
