Hopefully you made database backup as you're going to need it. Magento database structure is so heavily cross-referenced that mucking around using queries is NOT recommended. Even top guns do it as a last resort, so restore database and either delete products from backend or use API like everyone else.

To achieve this result make separate websites under manage stores. Each website should have it's own store. And each store should have it's own root category. Under categories you can create your own root catalogue for each store thus allowing to have independent menu structure and associated products.

Ack! Who the hell came up with the great idea to save files using 640 privileges? For many virtual servers, users logged in are in same group with PHP while web server runs as "other" or "world". Once you save something using PHP it automatically becomes unreadable to web server unless someone changes privileges. Also, modifying this .php file is not a a good idea in long term as it is core file. Either write an extension or complain loudly. Maybe Magento hears our pain and does something.

This CSS is meant to be used whenever you print page. This way you can remove background images, headers, sidebars and footers that doesn't make any sense one paper. If you remove media="print" then this CSS is used for display styles as well which can lead to all kind of weird things, none of them good.

I know, I run currently several Magento installations on PHP7. However it's still workaround, which is not good as PHP7 has been "latest" PHP for several months and ISP-s start using it as a default version. Anyway, people keep asking from me about PHP7 and they made me wonder if any of those small patches we saw lately did something about it ...

Had on a sneaking suspicion that it might be the case. I noticed that they changed php detection algorithm at some point and added 5.6 support; thought that latest version might might also be friends with PHP7 but apparently I was wrong.

Try to turn indexing mode of all your indexes (indices?) from "Update on Save" to "Manual Update" and try again. Sometimes it's possible to overwhelm automatic indexing (not enough resources, too many products, too many categories). If it helps, then try to turn then on one by one to see which one of them is culprit.

Your extension tries to open file media/adjconfigurable/110_17_ID5_1454708392.png . The file isn't there and since it doesn't know how to handle this situation gracefully, it crashes.

It loads images from media/wysiwyg folder, hence it's highly likely that there's a static block (they can be found under CMS menu item) that contains those logos. Another option is that footer template loads it from somewhere, but without code to work on there isn't much I can do to help you.

What's that error with php.ini? Also make sure that your fpm and cli use same ini file. I've seen hostings where cli and fpm fun totally different versions of php.

Yeah, that you can do. There's tool to convert data. But first you must make sure that you have replacements for all the extension you're using and remember that you need probably twice as much time to build a new theme for M2 as you need to relearn everything.

M2 is not compatible with M1, so there's no direct upgrade path. Upgrading to M2 means that you need to rebuild pretty much everything from scratch.

I'm not sure it's called at all. I guess there should be some kind of cron log or error messaging system to analyse that. Maybe you should add a line to cron.php that send you e-mail to confirm that it's called?

You should call cron.sh as it's called from cron.php anyway (even though there are exceptions, such as store running on Windows stack).

/bin/sh /home/example/public_html/cron.sh is the only cron job you have to run. Classic Magento crontab line looks something like this: */5 * * * * /bin/sh /[magento_path]/cron.sh */5 * * * * pattern means: run cron.sh after every five minutes. What's yours?
