I was wondering if you guys could help us to find a specfic solution for our client.
The client need a module that could be hable to reuse the product image of some product to another product.
For example, the client has created a product A, that are very similar to product B, the difference between them are price, weight and some specifics atributes, and the only thing that the client need is reuse the product image from A to product B.
In magento if we copy the product and uploaded the same image, this image will be duplicated and this action are consuming a lot of space in client's server. This client sell computer suplies and they are visually very similar, but in some case they has differences between.
Is that possible to create a extension to reach the client need?!
I've been thinking to override the product media ulpload action to try to find the product image, but is quite complicated cause magento default upload create different folders for each product.
Can anyone help me on it?!
