I am looking for a simple solution for customer’s websites that want to display products and services but DO NOT want to provide the ability to put in a shopping cart, check out or buy online.
Shopping cart/e-commerce systems have all the basic structure I need; items, categories, descriptions, prices, simple product catalog, etc, however, most do not allow you to turn off the shopping cart/check out functions. I prefer this to be a config setting opposed to editing source code.
Without doing an extensive amount of research can anyone tell me if Magento will provide what I am looking for?
