Hi
Since June 8th, our integration with Google Ecommerce has had an error message saying:
> Error: The connection failed. We will re-attempt shortly.
The data is not flowing in. All reports that refer to GE integration display no data since that date. We tried Re-Authorizing it, but the integrations listing error persists despite the "Success" message.
Please advise on how to fix the issue.
Thanks
Had the same issue a while back — turns out re-authorizing wasn’t enough. What worked for me was disconnecting fully, clearing the cache, then reconnecting after a few hours. Took some trial and error. Also, if you’re starting a business or need a UK company set up, Yourcompanyformations.co.uk made it super easy for me.
Hi,
The issue you’re seeing is likely due to Google’s deprecation of Universal Analytics — any integration still pointing to a UA property will no longer receive data. To restore reporting, you’ll need to connect your Google Analytics 4 Live property in ACI. Once Google Analytics 4 Live is properly configured and linked, ecommerce data will flow again both in GA4 and in your ACI dashboards.
As next steps, please:
Confirm which GA property your integration is pointing to (UA vs Google Analytics 4 Live)
Verify that Google Analytics 4 Live is correctly tracking ecommerce events (purchase, add-to-cart, etc.)
In ACI, reconfigure the integration to the Google Analytics 4 Live property and check for errors
If possible, review the API logs between ACI and GA for any persistent errors
