Hi Everyone!
My name is Omar Salman, and I am the CTO of RLTSquare. I work with an amazing team of developers in Pakistan and our company provides Magento configuration and customization services. This will be my first time attending a Magento event and I'm quite excited about it! I'm somewhat new to the Magento community and really looking forward to meeting up with people who have been here longer and doing the same things as me and my company. When I am not Magento-ing, I like to read, though lately I am spending most of my free time acting as a horse to my two little boys ... no complaints!
Hi my name is Giuseppe Filice.
I think some of you already know me (the tall Italian guy).
I am a professor at the University of Calabria (Italy) and founder/CEO of several companies operating in the ecommerce industry.
I am looking forward to meeting people from the Magento community, getting inspired by the speeches to increase my knowledge about Magento.
This is my sixth Imagine Conference from the first one in L.A. 2011 (what memories!!!).
I spend my free time with my family.
See you all in Vegas!!! Can't wait
Hi Imaginees - my name is Tyler. I work for Monin (US) - a French based beverage and culinary flavor innovation company. I am the lead web developer responsible for managing both our global website and our US based Magento ecommerce website.
With the release of M2, PHP7 I'm excited to see how the community as a whole is reacting and what it means for the future of Magento. I've never met with other Magento devs in person, so it will be interesting to learn how they handle day-to-day chores of Magento - from outsourcing, to product management, to general efficiencies. This will be my first time attending Imagine, so I am excited to see how the conference delivers.
Oh, and in my spare time I'm consuming all of the podcast and Audible my ears can handle.
So great to "meet" you @arvkrish @omarsalman @tmillsmonin - excited for your first Imagine experience!
Looking forward to seeing you again @gfilice, you are everywhere at Magento events!
Hi,
Thanks Sherrie for creating this wonderful post.
My name is Idrees Butt and I am the CEO of RLTSquare (www.rltsquare.com). I am a serial entrepreneur without (yet) making any of my ventures to a $100m valuation
At RLTSquare, we are dedicated to Magento development. After having spent almost three years and earning a few certifications in the team, we have decided to come out of our shell and show our faces at Imagine this year.
We (me and @omarsalman) are coming to meet and learn from all of you, to build strong connections and explore potential opportunities to work and grow together with you.
From what I know, this will be the first time a Pakistani Magento firm is going to attend Imagine. So, to show our love for all of you, we would like to bring some cool local stuff for (at least some of) you from Pakistan. If you kindly send me a small note to idrees@rltsquare.com (with your full name) and mention anything special you would like to get from Pakistan, we will be happy to bring it for you
When I am not Magento-ing, I am thinking about my life's purpose and finding ways to spend quality time with my loved ones!
Stay blessed and looking forward to shaking hands with the Imagineers!
Regards
Idrees
Thanks for introducing yourself @Idrees, looking forward to meeting you and @omarsalman at Imagine and hearing a bit more about the Magento community in Pakistan.
Hey Magentolks!
My name's Jim, I raise cows with capes on over at Moogento to help optimise Magento order processing.
This is my first time at Imagine, I'm stoked. I've had a dabble recently, at MagentoLive Sydney and MeetMagento Hanoi, and looking forward to the Vegas Big Daddy. Mainly looking forward to meeting all the cool people that seem to hang out in the Magento community, and putting $10 on red.
Free-time I've been getting into running (the Hoover Dam run sounds great!), and when I'm not traveling I'm usually skippering speedboats or looking for shipwrecks, sometimes at the same time.
Hi everyone,
I'm Kav and I work at Anchor (web hosting) where my role is around Business Development and Partnerships.
Anchor's been around for 15 years specialising in eCommerce and business critical applications. We also have a unique Magento DevOps platform which is designed to empower developers as well as give them an easy to use continuous delivery method.
I'm also an organiser of the Magento Meetup Sydney.
Last year was my first Imagine rodeo. It was incredible. Learned lots and met some great people.
This year I'm looking forward to chatting with developers solution partners about their experience and thoughts about Magento 2.0. Hoping to hear some success stories as well as hearing about some challenges and how they were overcome.
When I'm not working, you'll find me at the beach, riding my motorbike, playing poker, at a bar, or at the gym lifting weights up and down in a repetitive motion.
Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones!
Cheers,
Kav
