Hi all,
Most likely a noob question but do I need to install extensions by changing the extension folder in order for the extension to install to a theme as Magento 1? Because in magento 1, the subfolders in app and skin of the extension in question had to be renamed to the theme name in order for the extensions to be installed under the theme otherwise they would not show up under that particular theme.
Does magento 2 work in another way, such as installing normally as instructed and ignore theme as it will install globally or has to be installed to the theme? If it has to be installed to the theme then how does one do this?
I have a zipped folder for the magento 2 extensions and want to know how to approach this please.
