Can Magento Enterprise be self-hosted, or just the Open Source version?

Hi

Can Magento Commerce / Enterprise be self-hosted, or just the Open Source version?

An agency recommended Magento Commerce, but I am keen to go the self-hosting route.

I tried asking the Magento Chat Bot but they totally failed to help. Just trying to understand the different products at the moment.

Magento Commerce is the product, previously known as Magento Enterprise Edition (EE),

Magento Commerce Comes with two options :

1. Magento Commerce

2. Magento Commerce Cloud

Magento Commerce is self hosted, i. e. you can choose your desired hosting, but Commerce Cloud itself come with it's hosting which is hosted by Magento on their AWS stack.

Both Magento Commerce and Magento Open Source can be self-hosted. Magento Commerce, previously known as Magento Enterprise, was initially offered as a cloud-hosted solution but now allows self-hosting. Magento Open Source, the free version, can also be self-hosted.
