Magento 2.2 + openserver (win) Error 500 when installing

Hello,

I'm trying to install Magento 2.2 to the openserver under Win64x

It shows the following:

Server error!

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Error 500

I tried magento checking php module, it shows me OK

but magento_cleanup is also not running

It seems something is wrong in .htaccess, isn't it?

Before installing Magento did you try to put a PHP file on the server and saw that you are able to browse the URL? I would recommend to put a file let say 'index.php' put the below code in the file and see if you are able to browse the URL.

If you are able to browse the URL it should display all PHP configurations. If not there is an issue with the server setting. If you already did this and having issue with Magento installation then start looking into server log for any issues.

It seems I have resolved it

First of all, you have to delete all the tags in .htaccess file starting from <IfVersion...

Because the Openserver does not understand this part of code. Maybe it means something serious, but now I have deleted all these tags to make my life easier))

Then Magento checks compatibility of your system. If it shows PHP extension failure, you have to go to PHP.ini (which is accessible from OpenServer menu->advanced->php conf) and uncomment the line "extension=php_intl.dll" by removing ; symbol at start. I do not know, why it was commented and by whom, but now we have to remove it

Then note, Magento doesn't work with PHP 7.2, it works only with PHP 7.0. You have to make appropriate settings in OpenServer.

Now it is installed!

Я не понял как это работает) В начале я в .htaccess удалил все длинны строки с ######

, потом заглянул в PHP.ini где у меня тоже была закомментирована строка extension=php_intl.dll , соответственно раскомментировал. Все равно не работает, выдает 500. Ну тогда банально все из htaccess удалил. Перезагрузил и ... обалдел когда увидел страницу установки) Спасибо Алексей.
