Hey magento community,
I'm currently setting up a development environment for Magento 2.x and am using an Intel Evo notebook. Given the advanced specifications of these notebooks, I expected a smooth experience. However, I'm curious about how Magento 2.x performs on this hardware.
My question is: How does Magento 2.x perform on Intel Evo notebooks? Are there any known performance issues, or specific optimizations that I should be aware of to ensure the best possible experience?
I’d greatly appreciate insights from anyone who has experience with Magento 2.x on Intel Evo notebook. Any tips on configuration tweaks or performance adjustments would also be highly valuable.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best, Jonathan Jone
Magento 2.x can run on Intel Evo notebooks, but performance may vary based on the specific model, especially with tasks like handling large catalogs or running resource-intensive customizations. While Intel Evo notebooks are optimized for speed and multitasking, Magento 2.x is known for its heavy resource demands, especially on RAM and CPU. Consider increasing your RAM and switching to an SSD if not already equipped. Configuring local environments with optimized settings, such as enabling Varnish cache and reducing unnecessary modules, can improve performance. Additionally, using Magento hosting solutions can significantly enhance site performance and reduce strain on local development environments.
