Big differences between backup sizes

Hey wizards,

I created several backups in a short period of times, and saw that there are very big differences between the sizes of each backup:

             TIME                          SIZE, BYTES

Sep 22, 2017 7:10:14 AM         13516800
Sep 22, 2017 6:25:22 AM         12189696
Sep 22, 2017 6:21:31 AM         9633792
Sep 22, 2017 6:10:19 AM         22708224
Sep 22, 2017 6:08:18 AM        12926976

Of course, no changes in the store were made during that time. Do you have any idea what caused this? And which backup should I use if I need?

Actually, I don't really know. There's the "Create Backup" button and I clicked on it. Where can I see the backup's content?

Is this the tool you're using?

Is placed under System -> Tool -> Backup.
