Changes aren't saving

Hello,

When I make a change in the admin panel (the backend of our website) and then go to save it the page refreshes and resets and the change is gone. I've tried refreshing the cache but that did not solve the issue. What else could be causing this problem? Thank you!

This is often caused by a bad redirect line in your .htaccess file that removes index.php from the URL. See if any changes were made recently to this file.

A more unlikely cause would be the filesystem going into a read-only mode.
