How To Reset Test Orders And Dashboard Statistics - Magento 1.9

There's no elegant way to do it. There's however an extensions for deleting unwanted orders: https://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/delete-orders-6.html

For most it's close enough.

In Magento you can cancel orders, but cannot delete them. There is simply no "Delete order" button.
The decision to limit orders removal makes sense, as they contain customers payment information and deleting can be considered as a fraud.

If you have test orders that need to be reset for further correct accounting, you can use script or extension as workaround.

This  didn't do what I was expecting. It also removes all my products and didn't reset my values on the reports part. I luckily made a snapshot of my server for proceeding.
