Newsletter Success Emails - Turn Off??

Hi,

Hopefully an easy one, how do I turn off the newsletter success email that customers receive? I can change the template but can't see any option to just turn it off?

Brilliant, thank you so much for the link to the magento 2 disable newsletter confirmation email had no idea there was such a thing. 

here you can get amazing feature like

1. Easily enable or disable this feature.
2.  When enabled, new newsletter subscribers will no longer be sent a confirmation email.
3.  Full admin control.
