Product Options Problem

Does anyone know how to add product options, but take certain ones out that you don't have stock of?

For example:

You have T-Shirts in sizes

Small, Medium, Large

But you only have

Small in Red, Medium in Blue & Red, and Large in Green.

At the moment you add your options in size:

Small, Medium, Large

Then colours:

Red ,Blue , Green

But i  don't want all the colors to show for all the sizes. E.g I don't want green to show in Small & Medium.

Can this be done with Magento?

Hello.

You can use configurable products and this way in case any variation is out of stock, it will not be available for selection at products page (either grayed out or not visible at all - this depends upon Magento version).
