why my cart price rules are not being applied?

Hi, new to Magento here. Have just set up the following BOGO cart price rule but it is not being applied (nor any other rule that I am defining):

if ALL of these conditions are TRUE:

if total quantity is 2 for a sub-selection of the items in cart matching ALL of these conditions

category is Afeitadoras

Actions

Discount Amount=1

Discount Qty=1

if ALL of these conditions are true:

Category is Afeitadoras

Dates for th promo are ok.

Would much appreciate your help on this.

Try this rule:

If ALL of these conditions are TRUE
category is [category id]


Discount amount - 50
Max Qty Discount is Applied to - 0
Discount Qty Step (Buy X) - 2
Apply to Shipping Amount - No
