ADMIN > CATALOG > SEARCH TYPE > "LIKE"

I admin , i try to save as "LIKE" because the search results are poor and don't show correctly.

When saving it times out and does not save , or it saves but does not change to "LIKE".

Plumrocket search extension are aware of this and were paid to install search correctly and to show correct results. Why is this happening?

irrelevant results show - not the product itself being the most relevant

Plumrocket say to change search type to "LIKE" - this does not work.

Plumrocket paid for installation for this , not working.

Any advice please before this is escalated.

Furthermore , whenever a new product is added - the Plumrocket search extension stops working for 10-20 minutes.
