Mage registry key "_singleton/segment_analytics/observer" already exists

Our developer is out until Thursday so I am hoping someone can help ASAP. I do have access of our FTP end:

I was trying to install goSquared analytics (linked below) to our site, however “there had been an error processing your request” appears when trying to go to our websites

Never mind. I ended up clearing the files in the mage cache folder after deleting the extension from the app folder (or whatever it was called)
