REST API: Sales Orders POST Not implemented

Does anybody know if creating new orders through REST API will be implemented in near future, and if so, then when?

I know I can extend the default API functionality but I am a complete Magento rookie for now.

Alternatively, can someone share a working script which adds this feature?

Magento provide number of WS for different operations like products, customers and categories but unfortunately not privide WS for order create due to security reason as per Megento WiKi..  But of course you can create your own API method by customizing code..
