Customer Registration error - "Cannot save the customer"

After applying the latest patch 5994 to CE 1.9.1.1 there was the problem with the registration of customers. The error message was "Please make sure passwords match."

After the reverting back to the older version of the Customer.php file, there is now the new error message "Cannot save the customer."

Has anyone found this same issue and been able to solve it?

are you sure there is no cache left, or broken patch?

you can compare your old files with patched and see the error log

The same problem. Also occurs when the client attempted to buy a product as a "Guest", no registration.

Just an update on this; the Magento CE 1.9.2.0 update seems to have solved the problem.
