Browse button doesn't work

Hi everyone

I'm on a ver. 1.9.3.1 Magento store with a smartwave Porto theme.

I noticed that the brows button for the product image doesn't work at all. Nothing is happening when i click on it.

I read many solutions on the web and in this forums (like deleting medi folders) but it doesn't work.

Some help would be very appreciated.

Since Porto theme is a paid extension, did you tried to get official support?

Do you think it' s template problem?

I just checked it, i had an old local installation (with porto theme) and the browse button is working.

I'm on php7 on both local and online servers...

The easy/faster way to be sure if the problem is on your theme is to change the design to the default (RWD) and try again.

I tried without my theme but the problem is still there.

I checked with other browers and ios (mac and pc)...

Hi everyone

Thanks to @Damian Culotta i found the solution, my

> js/mage/adminhtml/uploader

had a permission issue, i put 755 and now the uploader works well.
