Can't create new product with Custom Options; layout breaks

I have been working with products that existed on a previous site. I had had an issue with updating products via CSV, so once I was able to get all the product layouts to update via import, I began going through the front end of the site, product by product, to confirm the layout was in fact updated and the custom options were displayed.

I found three products whose layouts were broken (the footer was ending up in the content area) and where the custom options were not showing. I thought the issue might be a character in those options that was imported with data from the other site.

However, I created a new product and as soon as I added a custom option, the product page broke.

I'm using Magento 1.9.2.4; i've reindexed and cleared the cache.

I am having a very similar problem with a website that i'm working on, im guessing its a Javascript error, some JQuery function clashing possibly. My console shows up with no errors, but everything thats suppose to load after the (product-options-wrapper) <div>, doesnt show on the page or the source.
