Magento Returns HTTP 200 (OK) status for Error Pages Instead of 404

I have installed Milano theme. On the GWT, I am getting a large number of soft 404 error pages.

 

The target URL doesn't exist, but the server is not returning a 404 (file not found) error. It rather returning http status 200 code.

 

Someone help me how I can fix that? How I can get status 404 code for error pages instead of 200 code? My site is http://mittmi.com.

What do you have your 404 target set for in Magento?

 

Does it have the same behavior with the default theme loaded?
