We upgraded recently from 1.9.3.10 to 1.9.4.0. So far I understand 1.9.4.0 is the last version with bugfixes and functionality added as part of the Roadmap to the End-of-Life for Magento 1.X.
After the Upgrade, we noticed a bug/effect that was never the case in previous versions:
In our System, we have some hundred Products. As well we have set up a Group. When someone is in this Group, several Products are Cheaper by 66%. The way we set this up, is a promotion (see rule1a.png and rule1b.png).
After Update we test it, and everything is working correctly.
But - and that is mysterious - after some hours or days or after other user starts to use the shop too (we not sure, what cause it) - the promotion price is not shown anymore at all times.
You can see this in the Screenshots:
- step1.png show the Product as Search Result (Price 133.32)
- Step2.ong show the Details (Price 133.32)
- Step3.png show the Product in the Cart (Price is now 399, what is the non-promotional price)
This effect is not consistent. At a time, where one user sees the problem, another user maybe did not experience the problem. As well it can be the case, that the price is in step1 and step3 correct, but not in step2. It is really, really weird.
What we did so far:
- Delete all Caches
- Reindex the Products
- We go back to the old Version and try to update again, to check if we did something wrong
None of them helps.
Any idea, what causes the Problem?
