Upload photo problem

I have used magento for several years, and now for some reason when i want to update the pictures of my products. They are unavailable to be viewed when editing product. While they show up when you look the website, they are not visilble when in admin and editing the item. Literally removed the pictures and the option to load new ones.. Really strange. please help

if you are using flash then you need to enable for that website using below setting
