system => import/export not showing under system menu

Hallo,

I'm new to Magento and wish to export products from a clients shop.

In reading a short tutorial I should export them from system => import/export, but this menu item is not visible by me.

Could it be because of a non-admin password?

Hi @Ians, yes this is likely related to your admin privileges. Can you share which version of Magento you are on?

Also, do you have access to the admin account so you can verify that it's there or ask the admin to grant you import/export privileges?

Hello @sherrie, yes it's 1.9.1.0

I do not as yet have access to the admin account, a colleague has recently bought out a small company where the online shop is running on Magento. He is in the process of obtaining the admin details.

On a side note do you or anyone you know have experience with connecting Magento with Filemaker Pro?

I've seen some solutions, where the running costs for a small company is a bit steep.
