Add advertisement message and image to invoices.

Hi,
We are looking at ways to get info on promotions/new products to our customers.

We ideally want this to be on the current invoice/packing slip that we send out with orders as it saves our packing team from having to place a sticker/new slip in with each parcel.

We are looking at something like this:

Is this possible to do through default Magento?

You can use any PDF invoice editor extension, they should be allowing like

OR if you want to do custom solution, you can ask extension development company to help you with your requirements.

I have noticed that these extensions are for Magento 2.

Do you know of any for Magento 1?

@lewis_johnMost or all of them having M1 extension. You would have to visit their website and look for M1.
