Security updates Magento 1.9.x

Sorry when this answer is already given somewhere, I really can't find the exact answer anywhere. I read the end of life of Magento 1 was postponed, but does this also count for the CE + security updates?

In other words... We're running a Magento 1.9.x Community Edition, till when will there be security patches? When do we need to make the step to Magento 2?

Does this also mean they're keep releasing security updates? Not sure if keep giving support means the same actually? Just to be sure!

Thanks for all your links, but they all date back to 2017 or even 2016.

What is the actual situation (July 2018), particularly after Adobe has bought Magento (with maybe new policies) ?

What is officially planned about the ongoing Magento 1.x support, for both Community and Entreprise ?
