Create Product Configuration Page

In the Create Product Configuration Page Step 1: Select Attributes, it shows something like default attributes in there (color, format, size).

How can I add existing attributes to this list?

I can Create New Attribute and it will show up in this page but not sure how to add existing ones to this page.

1. Create an attribute set
2. Assign the attributes you need to the attribute set
3. Create a configurable product
4. Assing the attribute set to the product

The product will contain all the attribute set's attributes.
