Hi Magento Community
I am new to Magento, with no previous knowlede of other backend systems. I am a quick learner, and have already created many different products on our website (nordlysviking.com), but this problem is beyond my skillset.
Sometimes when i create a new configurable product, it says on the backend that i have ex. 5 in stock/quantity, but on the store page it says out of stock. I simply cannot wrap my head around this, and have tried different theories to see if 'that' was the cause, with no luck.
We have both an English site and a Swedish one, and then there is ofcourse 'All store views', but they all say they have the same quantity of the items - mind you i did not configure the quantity individually on each page, they were auto-generated when i created the configurable product on the 'All store view' page.
So far it has happened to 4/5 different products, and not all with the same 'configuration'.
Has anyone heard or seen this before, am i just thick skulled or is this a general problem?
